E-LAN is a Layer 2 solution that enables multipoint-to-multipoint connections. When used in conjunction with EVPN, it benefits from EVPN's flexibility and redundancy, resulting in a more capable and robust solution.
In our tests, all DUTs were under the same EVPN E-LAN service. EANTC generated full mesh end-to-end unicast traffic with Spirent TestCenter and observed no packet loss.
