EVPN ELAN Single Homing over SRv6
In an E-LAN service, RT-2 provides any-to-any Ethernet connectivity between sites. RT-2 is the EVPN route type used to advertise MAC address reachability. Each RT-2 route represents a MAC address learned on a PE and is distributed using BGP EVPN. Remote PEs use this information to populate their Layer 2 forwarding tables.
In this test, we have validated MAC learning ingress PEs and observed correct propagation to remote PEs. We completed the verification by generating traffic over the E-LAN service, where endpoints maintained consistent Layer 2 connectivity throughout the test, and we observed no traffic loss.
